Çay Double-Walled Glass & Coaster
Çay Double-Walled Glass & Coaster
A double wall keeps the heat in, and your hand cool.

The Turkish tea glass, redrawn. The tulip silhouette is unmistakable — but a double wall of glass holds the heat where it belongs, so the tea stays hot and the glass stays cool in the hand. Set on a coaster cut from solid marble, with a quiet tiled motif.
Made for the slow pour at the end of the day.
Borosilicate glass · marble coaster · ~120ml · hand wash

How it's made
Designed to be lived with.
The object
We started with the çay glass everyone knows, and asked what it would be if it were made properly: clearer glass, a truer curve, and a double wall so it works as well as it looks.
The ritual
Pour, wait, hold. The glass warms the room before it warms you. This is the object an afternoon is built around.
The maker
Double-walled borosilicate, hand-finished, paired with a coaster cut from solid marble. Made to outlast a thousand pourings.

In use
Not kept behind glass.
